About Brandy
Brandy is a compassionate End of Life Doula and Reiki Practitioner, dedicated to providing empathetic care in the death community. With a lifelong commitment to supporting friends and family during their end-of-life journeys, Brandy began seeking ways to be actively involved in 2016, when she completed Hospice training at Silverado Hospice in San Diego, joining their Visitation Volunteer and NODA vigil teams.
Having completed formal Death Doula training through API, Brandy believes it’s a true honor to be present and hold space for individuals as they transition. As an End of Life companion, Brandy brings a deep sense of empathy and understanding to the individuals and families she supports.
In addition to doula services, Brandy is a trained Reiki Practitioner, certified in Jikiden Reiki at both the Shoden and Okuden levels. This holistic approach helps create a calming environment, promoting peace for clients and their loved ones.
Brandy is actively involved in her community, co-hosting the Chilliwack Death Cafe, where open discussions about death and dying take place. She is also a proud member of the Presenter Squad for Dying With Dignity Canada. Together, we can work towards eliminating the stigma surrounding death and dying in our culture, helping to reduce death anxiety for everyone.
​When she isn’t working, Brandy enjoys camping, taking extended road trips, exploring the great outdoors, and painting, all of which inspire her work and enrich connections with others.
